Livres en Folie 2025 to Feature Five Talks Honoring Literature and Creativity

As part of the 31st edition of Livres en folie, UNIBANK, Le Nouvelliste, the Michèle Tardieu Library, and the National Directorate of Books (DNL) are joining forces to offer the public a series of five themed conferences. These intellectual gatherings will take place at the Michèle Tardieu Library and will mark the beginning of exchanges between authors and readers on key topics such as reading, literary creation, copyright, and their fundamental role in the cultural economy.

In recent years, the organizers of Livres en folie have scaled back the scope of La Quinzaine du livre. This year, a few book-related activities are still being held to encourage young people to read. On Panel Magik, Max Chauvet, director of Le Nouvelliste newspaper, announced local book-centered activities that will bring together young residents of Pétion-Ville and students from nearby schools.
