The Port-au-Prince prosecutor’s office, acting on instructions from the Ministry of Justice, has frozen the bank accounts of individuals sanctioned under United Nations resolutions.
In a press conference held on Tuesday, June 10, the head of the prosecutor’s office, Frantz Monclair, announced that a letter had been sent to the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) and the Central Financial Intelligence Unit (UCREF), requesting that they open a financial investigation into these sanctioned individuals and their accomplices for money
