James Germain to Celebrate Frankétienne’s Legacy at UNESCO

James Germain, a leading voice in Haiti’s musical world, will reconnect with the stage and the public to pay tribute to Frankétienne at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on June 16, 2025. The artist will have the honor of being accompanied by exceptional musicians for this highly anticipated performance—Mario Canonge, the great Caribbean pianist; Jowee Omicil, the renowned Haitian saxophonist; and Claude Saturne, an extraordinary percussionist. Listening to James Germain, who is fully preparing for the evening of June 16, it is both a privilege to collaborate with these artists and a real responsibility to bring Frankétienne to life on stage with the depth and sensitivity he deserves.
