After the publication of the draft of the new Constitution on May 22, the Steering Committee had given the public until June 21 to submit comments, observations, and criticisms on the document. While the president of the Committee, Enex Jean-Charles, told Le Nouvelliste on Friday that they received more feedback than expected on the draft, he was not, however, able to indicate when the final document would be ready—let alone provide a date for the referendum.
