Key Absences in Upcoming Women’s Soccer Clash Between Canada and Haiti

The first leg of a two-match international friendly series between the women’s national teams of Canada and Haiti will take place this Saturday, May 31, at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, in the absence of two key figures in the technical and tactical setups of both teams.

The stage is set for the kickoff of the first international friendly between the Canadian and Haitian teams—two sides that have already faced each other five times in women’s football prior to this current series.

Casey Stoney will be absent

Casey Stoney, head coach of the Canadian women’s national football team, will not be on the sidelines for the match against Haiti on May 31, 2025. It will be assistant coach Natalie Henderson who will lead the Canadian team from the bench in Winnipeg
