According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, Michael Karl Geilenfeld, recently residing in Littleton, founded the St. Joseph's Home for Boys in 1985—a home for orphaned, impoverished, and vulnerable children in Haiti—which he directed for more than twenty years, according to a statement from the U.S. government.
