No Police Operations for Over 15 Days in Kenscoff, Says Mayor Massillon Jean

This information was shared by the interim executive officer of the commune, Massillon Jean, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, while participating in Magik9’s morning show. The revelation comes at a time when gangs have attacked other localities in the commune over the weekend and earlier this week.

“The last operations by the Haitian National Police (PNH) in Kenscoff date back more than 15 days,” said interim officer Massillon Jean. According to Mr. Jean, the most recent PNH operation took place near Belot in an effort to assist armored vehicles transporting elements of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS) that had been caught in an ambush. “Since then, no operation has been carried out in the commune,” he added.
