One journalist is presumed dead and another has been kidnapped following gang attacks in Mirebalais on Monday, March 31, 2025. Eight days after the attacks began, their families and colleagues remain worried and fear the worst.

Journalist Israël Roger Claudy, a former correspondent for Radio Ginen and owner of a media outlet in Mirebalais, was kidnapped by the gang members who attacked the town on Monday, March 31, 2025.
