One hundred days ago, Prime Minister Didier Fils-Aimé took office, replacing Dr. Garry Conille, who failed to reach an understanding with the Presidential Transition Council (CPT). Publicly, the CPT disapproved of Conille’s government’s record, leading to his dismissal amid widespread indifference from the population and the chaos caused by armed gangs in the Haitian capital. In this same climate of indifference, Didier Fils-Aimé assumed office as the new CPT-appointed Prime Minister.
