For the third time, Haiti’s men’s U-17 national team has qualified for a World Cup final phase. This time, the team will travel to Qatar in November 2025. Unlike the 2007 and 2019 teams, there was little indication that Eddy César’s squad—given Haiti’s current turmoil and the near-total absence of a national league since the downfall of the previous Haitian Football Federation (FHF) administration led by Dr. Yves Jean-Bart—would achieve this historic feat.
