Year after year, Haiti continues to rank among the worst-performing countries in terms of corruption perception. According to the annual report by Transparency International, Haiti is among the 15 countries where corruption in the public sector is perceived to be the highest. While in 2023 the country had a score of 17/100, in the 2024 report, it dropped further to 16/100.
