On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the backyard of the town hall, an unusual commotion disturbed the usual calm. At the gate leading to the courtyard, where hundreds of displaced people were gathered, a young man in his twenties tried to prevent others from entering. A heated argument broke out between him and a small crowd determined to get inside. With a simple display of our press credentials, we were granted access—the gate opened and immediately shut behind us.
