Investigating Judge Loubens Élysée ordered the detention of former Director General of the National Old-Age Insurance Office (ONA), Jemley Marc Jean-Baptiste, following his hearing on Friday, February 7, 2025. Jemley Marc Jean-Baptiste was implicated in the report of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) for abuse of office in several cases he handled within the ONA.
According to ULCC investigators, Jemley Marc Jean-Baptiste had ordered the issuance of checks totaling more than five million gourdes to four product suppliers
