Jacmel welcomed Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Wednesday January 22. With traffic at a standstill, schools and formal activities at a standstill, crowds of Jacmelians lining the roads, papercraft masks on display in the streets and a rara band, the hospitable city went all out to welcome President Petro.
The military plane carrying the head of state of this Latin American country landed at Jacmel airport at around 3.50pm, after a long delay. He was welcomed on the tarmac by the President of the Transitional Presidential Counc
