Key and Lesser Decisions Made by the CPT-PM Partnership

The two most recent Council of Ministers meetings this December provided the executive branch an opportunity to make several decisions, ranging from the establishment of the National Security Council (CNS) and the proclamation of a state of emergency, to the regulation of overseas travel by public officials and the publication of appointments, among others. Yet, none of these measures truly addresses the expectations of the population.

Unable to take actions that could help restore security in the country, the Presidential Council and the Prime Minister’s Office seem limited to making minor decisions that have little impact on the everyday lives of citizens.
