Present on the first day of Artisanat en fête on Saturday, Georges Wilbert Franck, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, left impressed by the creations he saw. “The soul of the country is alive,” declared Franck.
The works displayed at the 18th edition of Artisanat en fête, he said, are a testament to the country’s artistic wealth. “Craftsmanship can boost the economy by creating jobs, and it also helps present a positive image of Haiti abroad,” he stated.
