Political Parties Express Frustration with the CPT, Condemn Fanmi Lavalas and Its Allies

Stakeholders, in a united front, rebuking Fanmi Lavalas and its allies with the aim of “saving the transition,” are inviting CARICOM to hold talks with the CPT “to observe the non-implementation of the April 3, 2024 Agreement and the expiration of the CPT’s mission.”

Stakeholders from the March 1 consensus and signatories of the April 3, 2024 Agreement, the December 21 Agreement, the January 30 collective, EDE/RED, Pitit Dessalines, and other political entities, at the conclusion of a scathing critique of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT), Fanmi Lavalas, and their allies—accused of seizing control of the government—and in light of the indictment of three members of the Council in an alleged corruption scandal, as well as the massacres at Wharf Jérémie and Petite-Rivi&e
