Dozens of members of the Gran Grif gang from Savien stormed the village of Coutang in Savane Boule, a locality in the fourth section of Marchand Dessalines, Artibonite department, early on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The news was confirmed by Dunord Sileus, president of the interim municipal commission.
According to local media, the attack left three people dead, six injured by gunfire, ten homes burned, three cars set ablaze, and around sixty cattle stolen. The injured were transported to Claire Heureuse Hospital.
