Improving Access to Books for the Visually Impaired

On November 15, 2024, the Haitian Society for Aid to the Blind (SHAA), in collaboration with Communication Plus, organized an exchange meeting with publishing houses in Haiti centered around the Marrakesh Treaty. Held at the PyePoudre Cultural Center, this initiative aims to improve access to books and printed works for blind and visually impaired individuals, in a context where the inclusion of people with disabilities remains a significant challenge in Haiti.

On November 15, 2024, the Haitian Society for Aid to the Blind (SHAA), in partnership with Communication Plus, brought together key players in Haiti's publishing world for an exchange meeting.
