Environmental, Social, and Governance Issues Take Center Stage at 11th Internal Audit Week

The 11th edition of Audit Week was launched at the El Rancho Hotel on November 11, 2024, and focused on a crucial theme: "Institutions Facing the Challenges and Perspectives of ESG Requirements, Technology, and Standards." Experts, students, and members of both the public and private sectors gathered to address the new challenges facing auditing. For Mr. Nathanael Jean-Louis, President of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Haiti, and Ms. Gally Amazan, President of the Francophone Union of Internal Auditing, this edition highlighted the importance of adapting to modern challenges, social responsibility, and combating financial crimes.

Providing institutions and auditors with the tools needed to meet environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements while integrating technological advancements is the goal of the 11th edition of Audit Week, which opened on November 11 at the El Rancho Hotel amidst a challenging economic climate.
