PNH Intensifies Operations in the West and Artibonite, Official Reports Yet to Come

The National Police of Haiti (PNH), supported by units from the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS), is deployed across multiple fronts in the West and Artibonite departments to counter armed gangs. Speaking on the Panel Magik show on Thursday, October 24, 2024, spokesperson Michel Ange Louis Jeune reported on various police interventions without providing specific statistics on their outcomes.

In Artibonite, the PNH conducted operations in Kafou Pèy, where members of the criminal organization "Gran Grif" from Savien had erected barricades and established toll booths, according to Louis Jeune.
