Budget Takes Center Stage at the 2024 International Finance Summit

At a gathering of finance enthusiasts and experts, the Haitian 2024-2025 budget took center stage, highlighting its critical role in funding the national economy. Jean-Michel Silin, Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and economist Kesner Pharel outlined the government's key priorities, emphasizing the strategic importance of the budget in attracting direct investments, particularly from the diaspora.

In his remarks, Jean-Michel Silin presented the five priorities that will guide the government’s actions through the 2024-2025 budget. The Haitian state budget is focused on several essential priorities, beginning with enhancing stability to create a conducive environment for development.
