President Voltaire Sparks Debate with Prime Minister's Office Over Foreign Minister's Summoning

After his setback in New York during the 79th United Nations General Assembly, where he was denied access to a meeting between Prime Minister Garry Conille and Brazilian President Leslie Voltaire, who has since become president of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT), Voltaire intends to seek explanations. His first decision upon taking office as president of the CPT is to write to the Prime Minister to express his intention to summon the Minister of Foreign Affairs once again.

Although Prime Minister Garry Conille had clearly informed the Presidential Council that he does not have the constitutional authority to summon one of his ministers—as the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Council had attempted to do—Leslie Voltaire asserts that he possesses full power to convene ministers. In a responsive letter sent to the head of the Prime Minister's office, the new president of the CPT reminds him of his responsibilities.
