The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) held an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, to discuss the situation of Haitian migrants in the Dominican Republic. The meeting took place at 3 p.m. in the Simon Bolivar Room, as announced by the OAS on social media.
