The police forces have been mobilized to ensure the safety of students across the country. A strategic plan has been developed, involving various units of the Haitian National Police (PNH), to safeguard students, parents, teachers, and other actors in the educational system, according to the Deputy Police Spokesperson, Lionel Lazarre. Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, October 1, Lazarre announced the measures taken for the 2024-2025 school year.
