Commissioner Lyvenson Gauthier Questioned Over Alleged Role in Summary Execution

The municipality of Tabarre experienced a tense weekend following the detention of the chief commissioner of the local police station, Lyvenson Gauthier. The arrest took place on the evening of Friday, September 13, as confirmed by police sources to Le Nouvelliste.

Tabarre, located about 8 km from Port-au-Prince, was effectively on lockdown over the weekend. Several roads in the municipality were blocked by vehicles and barricades made of burning tires.
