Haiti's Government to Follow Up on Economic Sanctions

The Haitian government, through the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), wrote to the ambassadors of four countries—the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Dominican Republic—requesting that they provide the Haitian state with the list of individuals targeted by economic sanctions, along with the charges and evidence on which these sanctions are based. This was confirmed by the Minister of Justice, Attorney Carlos Hercule, during his appearance on the program "Panel Magik" on Tuesday, August 27. He assured that legal action will be taken against the individuals identified if the sanctions are supported by concrete facts.
