Last weekend, the United States began transferring new armored vehicles to the Kenyan forces.
U.S. Southern Command also announced that turrets will soon be installed on all vehicles used by the Multinational Mission for Security Support (MSSM). The absence of these turrets had previously limited the use of the first ten armored vehicles provided to the multinational force.
