As discussions continue among various sectors to agree on a representative for the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Frinel Joseph, presidential advisor and head of the electoral project, announced that August will be decisive for forming the CEP. Speaking on Magik 9 on Monday, August 12, 2024, Mr. Joseph affirmed that the Presidential Transition Council (CPT) is determined to establish the CEP by the end of the month despite the challenges and delays faced so far.
“This month cannot end without us forming the CEP,”
