Haitian Armed Forces Aim to Recruit 1,500 Soldiers this Year

While the exact number of soldiers and operational officers in the Haitian Armed Forces is difficult to ascertain at present, the Ministry of Defense and the army's high staff are aiming to increase their numbers considerably before the end of the fiscal year. To this end, they have launched a recruitment process for a new cohort of soldiers.

In a note published at the end of the week on the Primature's Facebook account, the Ministry of Defense and the Haitian Armed Forces notify the public in general and interested parties in particular of a new recruitment process for candidate soldiers during the period from August 1 to August 12, 2024. 

Registrations can be made online at forms.gle/SAUttzoUfbwaGf. At the time of registration, applicants must provide a certificate of good conduct issued by the Haitian National Police; a birth certificate issued by the Nation
