Twenty-four hours after armed bandits opened fire during Prime Minister Garry Conille's visit to the State University Hospital in downtown Port-au-Prince, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) held his second press briefing since taking office.

During this meeting with the press, Rameau Normil presented the results of PNH operations for the first two weeks following the executive decree of a state of emergency in 14 communes in the West and Artibonite departments.
