Armed criminals opened fire on Monday, July 29, during a visit by Prime Minister Garry Conille to the State University Hospital of Haiti in downtown Port-au-Prince. In several videos circulating on social media, Haitian and Kenyan police officers can be seen rushing to take cover and trying to protect their position. Bursts of automatic gunfire were heard, and several armored vehicles were seen around the hospital.
