To support the Haitian delegation of seven athletes competing in five sports disciplines at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Haitian government has finally stepped in, covering thirty percent of the total budget, according to the president of the Haitian Olympic Committee, Dr. Hans Larsen.
"The government has provided 10 million gourdes, which is approximately USD 75,000. This amount represents roughly 30% of the necessary funds to cover the incurred expenses," stated Dr. Hans Larsen.
