CPT Marks Anniversary of Former President Jovenel Moïse's Assassination

The Presidential Transition Council (CPT) held a ceremony of tribute in memory of former President Jovenel Moïse on Sunday, July 7th, at the Villa d'Accueil in Musseau. Moïse was assassinated three years ago at his private residence in Pèlerin 5, on the outskirts of Pétion-Ville.

A minimalist ceremony was held to commemorate the third anniversary of the assassination of former president Jovenel Moïse, in the absence of members of the late president's family, the diplomatic corps and four of the nine members of the CPT. A portrait of the former president and a few flower bouquets were the only decorations for the occasion. This year, a requiem mass celebrated by Father Frantznel Limite constituted the first part of the program.
