During this same period, the airline Spirit Airlines is considering reducing the number of daily flights to Cap-Haïtien Airport.
This decision prompted the deputy mayor of Cap-Haïtien, Patrick Almonor, to meet with a high-ranking international official of Spirit Airlines, Camilo Martelot, who was in transit in the region, to discuss reconsidering this decision.
