Lamartinière Avenue in the Bois Verna neighborhood has become the new hub for mechanics and tool vendors who escaped the lower city following repeated attacks by armed gangs. For nearly two months, these mechanics have transformed the sidewalks of Lamartinière Avenue into a large open-air garage, repairing vehicles right on the street.
