Vernet Joseph Takes on His New Role as Minister of Agriculture

On Thursday June 13, Vernet Joseph, an agricultural engineer, was installed in his new position by his counterpart, Raphaël Hosty, Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, at a ceremony held on the premises of the National Food Safety Coordination (CNSA) in Delmas, attended by technical and financial representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR).

Familiar with the territory, the new Minister of Agriculture, Vernet Joseph, emphasized the need to get to work promptly.
