Who is Augustin Antoine, the New Minister of Education and Culture?

Appointed as a minister in the Conille administration, holding the dual portfolios of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) and the Ministry of Culture and Communication (MCC), Augustin Antoine is no stranger to Haiti's educational system and boasts considerable experience in the field of education.

A sociologist by training and a university professor, Augustin Antoine studied sociology at the Faculty of Ethnology at the State University of Haiti (UEH) from 1986 to 1990. From 1994 to 1995, he earned an advanced diploma in sociology from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Belgium. He is currently a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University of Liège in Belgium.
