Livres en Folie, since its inception in 1995, has withstood the test of time and the events that have shaken national life. Earthquakes, changes of venue, social and political unrest, the COVID-19 pandemic – the fair has faced it all and adapted to all situations over 30 years. While organizers announced in April the indefinite postponement of the fair due to uncertainties related to the country's overall security, they announced last May the holding of the 30th edition of the most important book fair on August 15th.
