Appointed Prime Minister by the Presidential Council since May 28, Garry Conille has yet to form his cabinet. Freshly discharged from the hospital after being admitted for a health scare the previous day, Conille expressed hope on Sunday that the government would be formed this week.
For several days, negotiations have been ongoing between the PM, the Presidential Council, and the parties with representatives in the CP regarding the list of ministers for the first post-Ariel Henry cabinet.
