Paris 2024 Olympics: COH Strives for Better Country Participation, Readies Haitian Athletes

If all goes as planned within the corridors of the country's highest sports authority, around ten athletes from seven sporting disciplines, including taekwondo, swimming, and judo, are expected to represent Haiti at the Paris Olympics scheduled from July 26 to August 11, 2024, according to information provided by Dr. Hans Larsen, president of the Haitian Olympic Committee, to Le Nouvelliste.

With less than two months left until the greatest global sporting event, the Summer Olympics, Haiti's Olympic committee, like the other 206 national Olympic committees, members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), is striving tirelessly, with or without financial assistance from the Haitian government, to ensure the country can field athletes capable of representing it honorably at this quadrennial event.
