PTC Requests Multinational Security Support Mission Deployment

Alongside ongoing negotiations regarding the withdrawal of Edgard Leblanc Fils as president of the Council to introduce a rotating presidency and to change the majority to 5/7 instead of 4/7, members of the Presidential Transition Council (PTC) wrote to the President of Kenya to reiterate the request for the deployment of the Multinational Security Support Mission to Haiti, as reported by Le Nouvelliste.

The presidential advisers have adopted a resolution to extend the mandate of the members of the Court of Auditors by two months.<
