A military AC-130 aircraft from the United States Southern Command (Southcom) landed at Toussaint Louverture International Airport on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The aircraft is the first to frequent the runway in broad daylight in weeks.

Photos and videos of the aircraft circulated widely on social media.

The international airport had not received any flights since March 4, 2024, following the attack on its facilities by armed criminals.
