Access to the Varreux oil terminal and the Caribbean Port Services (CPS) terminal is blocked by gangs, sources close to these facilities told Le Nouvelliste on Monday, April 22, 2024.
"The access roads are blocked. The 'Gonaïves station,' Chancerelles, La Saline are isolated. The terminal cannot make deliveries, and truck drivers cannot reach it," said a source close to the Varreux oil terminal, reporting on the gangs' misdeeds.
