Transitional Presidential Council's Major Focus: Security, MMAS Deployment, Amnesty

The Presidential Transition Council (CPT) is preparing to take the reins of the country. With the publication of the decree appointing the members of this structure, a milestone has been reached, and preparations are already underway for the installation of the advisors. Following a meeting with the acting Prime Minister, Michel Patrick Boivert, and the Director General of the Haitian National Police, Frantz Elbé, Leslie Voltaire, representing Fanmi Lavalas within the CPT, answered questions on Magik 9 radio on Friday, April 19, 2024. Security, deployment of the Multinational Mission for Security Assistance (MMAS), and the question of amnesty were at the center of his intervention.
