Appointment of Transitional Presidential Council Members and Installation Protocol

The Council of Ministers of Ariel Henry's government published, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in the official newspaper Le Moniteur, the decree appointing the nine members of the Presidential Transition Council. The country is now equipped with a Presidential Council of nine members to lead the transition until February 7, 2026.

Smith Augustin; Louis Gérald Gilles; Fritz Alphonse Jean; Edgard Leblanc Fils; Laurent Saint-Cyr; Emmanuel Vertilaire; and Leslie Voltaire are appointed members of the Presidential Transition Council with voting rights.

Régine Abraham and Frinel Joseph are appointed members of the Presidential Transition Council as observers and without voting rights, according to the decree issued by the Council of Ministers.
