Le Nouvelliste learned from a local resident that armed bandits were attacking the base of the Departmental Operations and Intervention Brigade (BOID) located in Fort National.
Contacted by Le Nouvelliste, Lionel Lazarre, coordinator of SYNAPOHA, mentioned gunfire in the vicinity of the BOID headquarters without confirming if the headquarters were targeted.&nbs
