The meeting, organized on Monday, March 11, 2024, in Jamaica, commenced after a lengthy delay at 3:27 pm. In addition to international personalities partnering with CARICOM in facilitating a resolution to the Haitian crisis, around thirty-five stakeholders from civil society organizations, the diaspora, and political groups participated in this significant meeting on the Haitian political crisis.
Three points were deliberated:
Criteria for the establishment of the Transition Council,
Functions of the Council, and
Formation of the Council.
