Bahamas Prime Minister, Phillip Davis, announced a major concession during deliberations involving Prime Minister Ariel Henry, declaring that general elections would be held by August 31, 2025, during the closing press conference of the 46th regular meeting of CARICOM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
"I think it is important to note that in our deliberations, particularly with Prime Minister Ariel Henry, a number of significant measures and concessions have been made to advance the political process, including what we consider a signi
