OAS Rejects the Idea of a "Transition Within the Transition," Urges National Accord

In the 4th meeting of the Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on the situation in Haiti, convened by the Secretary-General of the OIF, discussions were centered around the perspectives for resolving the crisis. Present at the meeting held at the Armenonville Pavilion in Paris, Cristobal Dupouy, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Haiti, presented the analysis and outlook of the OAS for a resolution to the crisis in Haiti.
